Shulebora User Manual

A concise overview of how the Head of Institution / Admin uses Shulebora day to day.

For: School Administrators & Heads of Institution

Getting Started

Sign in at the school's Shulebora URL with the account created during onboarding. Complete the Onboarding checklist (school profile, academic year/terms, classes and streams) before adding learners.

Use the sidebar to navigate: Students, Staff, Academics, Assessments, Attendance, Fees, Reports and Settings.

Students & Staff

Add learners individually under Students → New, or bulk-import using the Student Import Template (download from this page) then use the Import action on the Students page.

Add staff similarly under Staff → New, or bulk-import with the Staff Import Template. Assign roles (Teacher, Class Teacher, Bursar, etc.) so each user sees only what they need.

Academics & Assessments

Set up Classes, Streams and Subjects under Academics. Teachers record Schemes of Work and Records of Work, and enter CAT and exam marks under Assessments.

Report Cards and Progress Reports (with CAT performance trend predictions) are generated automatically from entered marks — no manual computation needed.

Fees & Attendance

Configure the Fee Structure per class/term under Fees → Structure (or import the Fee Structure Template). Parents can pay via M-Pesa; payments post automatically to the learner's fee account.

Class teachers mark daily Attendance; the Attendance Reports page summarises rates that also feed into performance predictions.

Reports & KEMIS

Use Reports for class/school performance analytics and newsletters. Use the KEMIS Export Guide to prepare government returns.
